My roommates and I are weird--or we just have weird things happen to us. Explanation? Yes, yes--I am sure you are all curious now.

XD Poor WolfPilot got my random comment before I sped off last night about this.

We have tank snails. Weird little creatures, but they have their quirks. Last night, as I was sitting down to dinner, we decided to turn on the dining room light vs. the kitchen, which makes everything a little dimmer. Jen decided to make the comment about 'romantic lighting.'

Then we look at our snails (the tank is right there on the table) and we realize our snails are ... really close. Like...going-to-have-babies close. o_O It didn't help that there was music playing in the backgrond from Kare Kano ...like the pretty, slow instrumental stuff--and then one of our neighbors came over to visit. We talked about cleaning our apartments, etc. for inspections. He had to make the remark about "Our kitchen is dirty." Jen starts laughing, looks at him and is like "Not as dirty as ours right now."

Various laughter insues over this, while the neighbor looks quite confused. Jen is still laughing and he tells her to 'spit it out before she chokes'... which had us both laughing all over again. We finally manage to explain, and the poor boy looks horrifed. (note--we had a plastic bag blocking the main site--)
