the good and the bad

Let's see... the good news is that jobs are opening up in my area once more. The bad news is that its a very slow trickle. The good news--one is right near where I live, has excellent hours, benefits and I know I can do the job. The bad news is ? I don't know if I can get it. I already put in my resume, and the manager said she'd take a look at it. If she deems it worthy enough, she'll call me for an interview.

The ultimate bad news? If I don't get a job by the end of May, I'm on an enforced visit to my grandmother for at least two weeks. Mergh.... pray that I get this job...

My advice: keep calling the manager about the job. You HAVE to let her know how much you want the job. Call her at least every other day if you don't hear back from her and let her know that you're very interested and you'd like to know when you can set up an interview. Just keep doing it until you get results.

Yeah... I'm going to call up again tomorrow and hopefully she'll be in the office. I'll remind her about it and tell her how much I do need this job. Mergh....let us hope.. ^_^
