1. Post 10 things that recently made you happy!
2. Then tag 10 people and force them to post this meme on their LJs. Everyone needs a little happiness once in a while.
1. Getting pocky from one of the 3rd years at my school. (Probably cause I gave them candy earlier, but hey...)
2. XD Third years in general are a hoot. The third year boy who tried so hard to ask if "his type of boy was the kind that I liked"-- WIN. Double points for embarrassing me, the teacher encouraging my answer (wtf!) and the class egging it on.
3. Getting more used to my students and talking with them. This is a big step for me and makes me happy. XD Yay, I'm relaxing!
4. Writing with people--doing writing has ALWAYS been my big relaxing thing and I love bouncing off my ideas to other people.
5. Yay, plot point in my own story. I'd actually been struggling with more depth to my original story and I found one the other day. Whoo.
6. Learning how to write my address in Japanese. BIG accomplishment. For those that are curious--(yes, the computer is cheating, but I do know how to write it by hand, too)熊本 菊池 野間口
7. I guess it's not that recent, really--but hey, internet at home. This is total win and in so many ways. I can talk to people at home, resume my normal schedule of things (even if people live in the past back in America. xP)
8. The weather has finally cooled down to something reasonable. It's no longer hot and sticky and there's actually a bit of a chill in the mornings and at night now. Yay for fall weather!
9. Again, not that terribly recent, but I got to see
baine in person. We had fun bumming around my prefecture and a nearby one. Boo that I got sick and couldn't see her in her prefecture, but we'll manage that at some point.
10. Fulfilling one of my dreams--living in Japan and being able to interact with the people and reach a level of understanding. It's only been two months and already I really enjoy it. Barring the giant spiders and whatnot, it's a great experience. =D
