Well, in less than two weeks, I'll be on my way to Japan. I'll be there at least a year, corrupting teaching Japanese schoolchildren the basics of English.

I'll be in the Kumamoto prefecture, in Kyushu (and a very southern portion, too!) but I don't know what town/city yet. It hasn't totally sunk in yet that I'm going, and as I've been telling people, it won't sink in until I'm actually *in* Japan.

There are three groups -- A, B and C and C is usually for alternates --those of us that were on the waiting list. So yeah, most people are already over there, but I get to be in the final group. =D

Axel/Sora
Sneaking Away

Sora couldn't lie, specially not to Axel. He always meant to tell the Nobody that he hated their liaisons, to say that he never wanted to see Axel ever again.

But even though he was sure he shouldn't like the Nobody -- in addition to being the enemy, Axel was infuriatingly conceited, and an awful person -- he was sure he did.

So Axel kept showing up in Sora's room, or outside by the gummi ship, or where ever else it was that the Trinity found to rest, and long after Donald and Goofy had fallen asleep, Sora kept meaning to say get lost but actually said fine, just tonight and like that, like that it was alright.

But then (though not completely unexpectedly) Axel appeared behind him, during an especially intense battle. "Sora...you don't really care about this little fight, do you? Come with me, instead."

"Go away," Sora hissed, certain that his companions would turn around, and then they would see about Axel -- "You can't be here, not now."

"What, I can't love you during the day?" But Axel's voice was just as ever, slightly-amused and always condescending. "Then sneak away with me. I know a place where it's always dark, where you won't ever be found out."

Sora turned to the other, not quite understanding -- not until he saw the portal, the dark alley that Axel was smirking from. ""Sneaking..away?" he replied, before checking on his companions -- still fighting, still oblivious.

"Your choice." Axel said tauntingly, before he was gone.

And like that -- well, Sora was curious. And Donald and Goofy hadn't noticied anything...Sora bit his lip, looked around hastily, before following Axel into the Dark.

Playing with humans, mortal—breathers of air and ones who had a heartbeat—was so much fun. It was intriguing how they were alike and not alike…how their silly emotions got in the way….

….and how he sometimes longed to have those same silly emotions.

But those times were few and far in between, and Roxas liked playing with Riku much more, twisting his mind and heart until it was too confused to know any better. He liked running his hands through silver strands, of brushing fingertips over a leather blindfold…

…of shoving the human-heart-beat against a wall and pressing his lips harshly against the others and feeling/hearing the catch of breath, the way the pulse sped up…

It was so very amusing to play with humans. Both of them got enjoyment out of it, and even though Roxas didn’t have emotions, he was sure that his amusement was far superior to anything that Riku could produce.
