Wow...

We're almost into October. And it's going to be a busy month. I'm trying to remember if I have my Rhetorical Analysis and my Word Meditation due on the same day. *twitches* That means two potentially difficult essays will be worked on in the same two weeks. Plus the other essays that will be shoved in the two weeks between now and the due date.

Did I say being an English major was fun? Note--I'm not complaining, Ely!!! I'm still thrilled to be in school and work and getting somewhere with my life. Btw--that technical writers list was hysterical. ^__^ I'm actually having a lot of fun with writing and helping out my roommates with their papers. I'm actually enjoying editing, because I can see how to correct it and make it sound better. Wow, did I actually learn something in school?

It's a lot of fun.... really. I am enjoying myself and am unbelievably grateful for all the help that got me this far. For people to tell me to not give up and keep on trying. Other than I would be exteremly disapointed in myself if I did give up.

^^; So yeah--thanks to all of you. ^_^

You might be having fun editing their papers now, but soon enough you'll be very, very tired of it. -_-; Trust me.

:) Oh, I'm positive I will be. *grins* But as a trade-off, when I take a math or science class next semester, she's going to help me with that.

*tries to come up with something reassuring* er... rhetorical analysis was the hardest class I ever took in the tech writing program (probably coz Dr. Thralls taught it) and after that it's all downhill?

*shudder* Dr. Thralls' class was the only English class I got a C in.

O.o

Glad I have Moeller....

Although he does tend to talk about the culture industry a great deal, and the evils of how we're being manipulated.

Is it wrong that your culture industry critique paper is longer than your rhetorical analysis paper? ^^;

I'm not sure if it's ever wrong to have a paper be too long. At least not in the English world.
