I feel like I need to indulge in a good cry

I was just told at work today that if I make two more mistakes--of any size, shape or color--I get fired. I kind of NEED this job. It's useful, its nice, pays the bills and buys me food. It's way too easy to make mistakes at that job, and it's not as if I'm doing something horribly wrong. I've improved, I know how to work things now, so why is this coming up now? They're apparently getting more evil with mistakes. If you do one thing wrong, it's a mistake. You would think they need their workers that have had experience. But obviously not. I'm thinking of going back to Convergys. Ooh... fun....

Don't feel bad babe...I have a similar situation at work (the place I've been working at for TWO full years) -___- Betsy, my manager, is an all-around nice gal. Probably the best manager I've had so far. Called her up yesterday and asked her why I wasn't on the schedule this week...since I need the money bad (I wasn't on the sched last week and the week before last as well). Basically she gave me two weeks off cause of my Gpa (which was very considerate) and last week she slipped and hurt her back real bad. So, not being at work to manage, she told Step, her third key, to just copy last weeks sched. She went on to tell me that now, since the holiday season is over, she doesn't have hours to give to anyone since we are overstaffed. She told me, since she confides in me and thinks it *might* be me, that she's gonna have to fire the one with the lowest numbers in sales, loyalty, etc...which I think might be me since this has *not* been my month. Anyway, don't feel bad, babe. I'm in the same boat as you, except I totally *love* my job, most of the ppl there, the customers, and I've been there for 2 years taking crap from various managers we've sifted through -___- Sometimes life sucks the big one. Lets just hope Betsy doesn't fire me because, quite frankly, this is the best job I've ever had (even tho the pay sucks major ass). *huggles* Just try your best, babe and prove them wrong ;) Thats what I did when I first started to work at Suncoast (they thought I might be a slacker)...

I'm always willing to listen if you have to vent ^__~ *huggles*

*huggles* Thanks... I wish I was online more to talk to you, too! Yeah, it really sucks and it doesn't help when you find your *own* mistakes and start digging your own grave. Bleh!
