lazchanOkay, I readily apologize to anyone that got near me in the last few hours. I have spent from about 9:30pm to 1:30 pm alternatly swearing, pleading, scanning, fixing, trying to uninstall with all my blessed skill...
to no avail. I've finally hit gold when the uninstall file hit the 'uninstall' menu. Windows ME sucks beyond all reason and I have been a total and complete ...uh... *bleep* to all that I have come across, my anger rather promiment. Not to anyone in particular, but it hasn't been the cheeriest day in general and the whole computer problems had really set me off.
*sigh*
I'm going to try one more time before I go to bed. The frelling scandisk can play around until the sun rises for all I care at this point. I'm not going to sit and stare at it, praying that it will work. I've had it up to here with it and yes, Microsoft will get a nice, long talk tomorrow about how they should have never manufactured and put ME out on the market.

On the bright side, I managed to finish a chapter on one of my stories, and upload it. Whee! I updated. ^^;; Now to work on the several other stories I need to finish. *grins* If I just get started, I'm sure that I'll achieve greatness.
Going to also beg my neighbor for the loan of his printer tomorrow. Let's see how well I can cajole him to a temporary use of it--and wouldn't it be nice to use the fax machine as well? *smiles brightly* I'm trying to get everything to the college now. LONG wait still, but its a bit closer now, with a few more obstacles out of the way.
