beaches and sunburns....

lazchanMy mom took us to the beach today! ^_^ It was an absolute beautiful day that rarely happens in NC. Meaning the humidity was low, there was a breeze blowing and the sun was shining. Wai! All at the same time. *grins* So I tons of fun playing in the water with waves knocking me flat and sending me to shore... *grins* I laid out on the beach to relax and read... and well... I have fair skin. The lightest skin compared to my nephew, but he has Native American blood to counteract the worst of the effects...
Laz is as red as a lobster.... and feeling like she just got baked in the oven as well. Strange that I'm shivering, too... blasted AC... <--can't wait until 48 hours to put cream on. ^^;; I kinda put it on too early, took a cool-ish bath and now am currently alternately shivering and being very warm. o.O
Well, there's the complaints from my department. Don't I have so many this week?
