Such good news to hear while at work during a slow period... (yes, I am creating and working on lesson plans and such, I'm not that much of a loser-lazy person) but that doesn't take the whole day and I'm doing research on the last bit of lesson plans.
Anyways, the good news (for me at least and I know a few people on my flist) is that Obama swept again--in Virginia (home state love!) Maryland and DC. I am SO amazed and thrilled at the wins and it's really just going awesome.
I'm glad I got my vote in (online). Elections, no matter who you vote for, are exceedingly important. Study the people that are running, their politics and views and what they plan to do for the country. Don't just dismiss on various snarky reports and missayings. You should KNOW who you're voting for.
This is the first election that I've really cared about and I am excited to see where it goes. I personally believe that Obama can do great things and make wonderful changes to our government for the better.
