(no subject)

Yesterday I didn't go to any of my schools, instead I went to the next area over and was a judge for an English speech contest for junior high schools. My instructions were to get off at the "Shisui bus stop" (yeah, had no idea what that actually was, my guess was faaaaaaaar off) and walk awhile and turn corners and all sorts of fun stuff. I ended up walking awhile, knew I was still far off and not sure WHERE I really was XD and so I called for help and I think everyone knew that I got lost. XD I got rescued, though. ^_^

The kids were eager in a lot of their memorizations of the speeches (they memorized parts out of the book) and there was one third year student that was absolutely marvelous in her English. They were all pretty good. The other teachers were nice and judging was SO difficult--! They were all pretty good. But we got 5,000yen for the day and it was a half day--(I'm hoping it was, that I didn't have to go back to the school, eep! I'll find out today, though.)

But it was fun and a nice break from the usual, but again I can't wait for the weekend. XD I fell asleep SOOO early last night. (and as a result, woke up early, wtf)

But I think I'm doing better. <3
