Wow... it's been a great vacation. Sunny weather, beaches and palm trees--getting tossed around the sand by drunk boys....ooh, did that last one slip out? *grins* That was Ft. Lauderdale, day 5. *g* I had an absolute fabulous time, and took pictures and such--some of them are just random pictures...Ash has some of the better pictures and I'm waiting for her to send me the batch of them. :)Staying in the condo was awesome, as the beach wasn't even ten minutes away. The view was amazing as well. And Ashley's dad just rocks. ^_^ So does Michelle. Cruising around town was so much fun. ^_^
It was great seeing Ash-chan again--I thought we had a total blast, driving around places (including going to Miami Beach) and just hanging out. We saw the Orioles Spring Training game, got tans on the beach--had fabulous food and even went to a casino. :) We played arcade games at a place called Boomers--it was just absolute fun. The scenery was one of the best parts--so much to look at and do! Went to several malls (one that was set up so stupid, but had nifty things inside) a giant Borders... I got some great green tea... *hugs her happy tea* and ate at this kickin' Japanese resturant in South Beach. Walked around town, walked on the beach... *sighs happily* Such a great vacation. Had an absolute blast with Ashley as well.
:) The trip home was another story--Ash and tons of other people share my pain on this one. With the rainstorms up and down the east coast (yes, reaching down to the bottom of FL) it grounded every plane going north for about... oh... four hours? That's how long I waited in the plane at Ft. Lauderdale. *grimaces* Ashley was grounded too--I forget what time she said her plane left, but it was super late as well. I had lovely nights stay in Atlanta... arriving in SLC a full 23 hours later then I had intended. *grins and shrugs* Oh, well. These things happen. It did have me in tears over the absolute frustration of it all at some points, but it all worked out and now I'm safely home. Stayed the night at Julia's family's house--her mom is so sweet. ^_^
And now... the pictures... ^__^ I'm too lazy to put them in a new gallery, so skip through the old ones (you'll know when they're new) and take a look
