Describe in one word...
School years...? Hrm... Interesting
Your best friend was?
Sarah, Amber
Worst friend?
Worst friend? Did I have a worst friend? Gah...
How was the prom?
Went by myself, but managed to dance about three times. Once with my friend's boyfriend (she bribed him into doing it.. ^^) Once with a good friend, and the other with some random person I met at lunch one day who thought I was intersting. ^.^ Other than that, got some really intersting blackmail pictures of me pre-prom with my hair all crappy and then after-prom tying to unglue it.
Who were the prom king and queen?
O.o I don't remember or care.
Any achievements?
In high school? Ah... *thinks* got nomimated for National Honor Society.
Were you popular?
I wasn't in the 'in-crowd', thought they were rather superficial (sp?) and didn't think about school quite so much as other things. I had my own group of friends that I felt just fine it. Wasn't until my senior year that I found out that the snobby kids thought *I* was snobby. Go figure... ^^;;;
Best song that reminds you of high school?
*shrugs* Don't really remember .. been five years? Don't recall the music so much.
In other news, my roommate Anna was teaching me some guitar chords last night. I can remember the strumming for "Freefalling" ^^ Now if I can just play it decently... *grins* I suck at musical instruments, but maybe if I apply myself I can do well on this one. It seems like fun. Doing pretty good at work, made almost double the amount of completes that we're to do in a day. So that was nice. ^_^ Don't know how I did it, but hey... bigger paycheck. *coughs* No... I'm not obsessed with money, just that when you work less hours than your normal job, any little bit extra helps a great deal so that you can buy groceries and pay other bills. I think life is going decently, though. I'm doing better and I have more confidence that I had the last time I was here. Before I gave up rather quickly--yes, I know it was partially my fault, but I was very low on the self confidence scale and with everything that happened that year... *shrugs* Well, it's all for the best. Now I'm old enough to really know what the heck I'm doing, and prepared to deal with what comes my way. That and the fact I can't go home for the next two years. ^.~ Rather nice incentive to make sure things are going in the right direction.
Went to Anna's WW2 class again today. I really enjoy going to class again and learning things, even if I don't get a grade for what I'm listening to. It's knowledge, and I'm going crazy not being able to do anything, learn anything. And this is a subject that really interests me. I adore history, and so it's good. Maybe I can convince Mitsuko-sensei to let me sit in on Japanese 2010 next semester. ^.^ Heh... We'll see. I can practice and buy the book! I'm so eager to learn and so having to wait until I get in state tuition is driving me crazy. But the fun thing about next weeks WW2 class is that they're going to have a guest speaker--a woman that lived in Austria during Nazi occupation will be talking. That's going to be awesome to hear. I'm going to go to class that day. ^_^ And make sure Anna drags herself up to campus that day as well. It is a three day weekend coming up.
Talked to my sister the other day.. she's doing good, and it was great to hear her voice and know that she's okay, instead of just wondering. She's still out with the carnival.. (only my sister... ) and with a better company now. I think she does daycare for those carnival workers that have children. So it's a nice, safe job where she gets paid and travels a lot. But the carnival? *shrugs* I think that she could do so much better than that, but if she's happy, I can't say too much. She's my sister, though and I do worry about her. I hope that she'll continue to be okay.
Wow... said more today than I usually do, even if most of it's a quiz.... Hmm.. I wonder what it means if you dream two or three nights in a row about people getting killed... *wrinkles nose* I don't know what goes through my mind, but it was really odd. The part of the dream that came after was *really* strange. *laughs* Puppy.. you'd think it was amusing. I dreamt that I was Tsuzuki. *grins* Really odd. I think my brain shut off at some point to produce that odd-ness. *laughs* Or just reading too many bizarre fanfics. People are writing the weirdest stuff these days, for all the fandoms. The crossovers are getting more frequent and getting really bad. People.. stick to one series! I only ever wrote one crossover (that fox story does not count!) and that was a joke written for a friend. Other than that.. *makes a face* You have to write them really way and mesh them together carefully to make it work. Otherwise it just looks really bad.
Beh... more at a later date, ne? I'll update this hopefully after I go to this debate on campus. A large group of people arguring a volatile subject... should be interesting to watch... and take part in. ^_^ I already have some arguments readied..
The subject? Should gay marriage be legalized in the U.S.? People, I'm in Utah. *shakes head* They're really crazy for bringing it up here, but it still should be interesting to see this 'non-biased' debate. We'll see. Most debates usually have a bias, and the larger the group of people, the more heated the argument will be. Here's hoping there'll be no bloodshed, verbally or otherwise.
