Job musings...
Jan. 23rd, 2004 01:37 pmI don't think I ever really forgot what a pain it is to find a job. It's just aggravating right now because I had one that paid me decently--hey, it covered various bills and groceries. But now, I'm searching again. I have too much free time on my hands, and I feel like I'm being lazy. I do check for jobs every day. It's not like I've given up and said that the whole world sucks or something. I do have an inteview this Saturday with The Olive Garden. Server/Hostess. Something like that would be alone the lines I'm searching for. Cross my fingers, ne? I really need this job.,
On the bright side, with the odds and ends from my last paycheck, I do have summer rent taken care of. Staying in the same room and everything. I don't have to worry about paying for rent until July, but I do need the money before then. Because I pay half in July, and the other half in August. Quite a chunk of change each time, too. *rubs forehead* No college for me for awhile, I think. If I can just manage to live for the next year here, then soon enough I'll have in state rates. August will be a year--then another year and I'll be home free. *sweatdrops* Seems so far away when you look at it that way...
But hope will prevail. ^_^
