a quiz and randomness

Well, the Cubs lost--due to a lot of factors that I won't get into. I spent my annoyance over it. ^^;;; Quite verbally. There is always next year, and I'm just proud that they were able to make it to game 7. Pretty good for a team that hasn't gotten this far for almost a century, and for first time Dusty Baker. They did good, and I know that they can do it again.

Work is going okay, mainly in a daze when I'm handling accounts. We've been busy this week--the week after a 'holiday' is always busy. Lots of calls. Lots of *stupid* calls. *rubs forehead* Save me from idiots. But we got paid today and this weekend is going to see me buying a comforter for my bed, amongst other things. *grins* Winter isn't that far off, and it seems to come quicker in this part of the state. Kitsu isn't freezing yet, but it's better to get it while I have the chance. That and I miss having a blanket on my bed... Andrea--been using the one you got me for Christmas 2 years ago--*hugs* Such a fantastic gift! I use it well. ^.~

Roommates are still great people--getting along with them and all their quirks. Although I think I finally shook off the missionaries. ^^;;; I did learn all I wanted to two years ago, and I don't want to waste their time, or get their hopes up by having them think I'll convert. Nice religion, nice people--but not for me. I have my own beliefs, which I had a fun half hour telling the missionaries. Reverse teaching? *laughs*

Other than that, there isn't much going on in my life--still working on that blurb of a story that I posted earlier--anyone care to comment on my idea of putting vampires in the story? Not as a main focus, really--sort of "they're their, this is their role" and such. Please? Comment?
