Well, I leave next week... and the end of this week is almost here. Funny how when Thursday hits, it all seems so much closer. I'm almost completely packed--there are probably a few things that I need to shove into my suitcase somehow, but not a lot. And not a lot can fit, either. O.o My only consolation is that I am packing for a long haul, including winter gear which is a bit bulkier.
Plane stuff is all taken care of, have my itineary sheet printed out. I hope I get to the airport soon enough to do check in and whatever security they have planned. And I have to do this at two other airports along the way. >_< If they can manage to get through my little suitcase with relative ease, and manage to get it back together before I get on the plane... ^^ Good luck to them. It's all carefully packed away in there so that all the available space is used. I just want to bring a few more of my notebooks with me, maybe another book or so, and I should be set. Now to find those other notebooks... ^^;
Have some college stuff taken care of as well. If I'm lucky, I might be able to take at least one class, so I don't feel like I'm totally going to pieces or being a waste. Working is fine, yes--but living in a college town for the next two years, without going to classes at all? I hate feeling like I'm behind. I know, I know that people 30 and 40 are in college. I don't want to be one of those people. I would like go graduate before I'm thirty. I wanted to graduate before I was 25. Considering I probably won't be able to start college again before I'm 23, 24? ARGH!
Finding a decently priced apartment out there is going to be the hardest thing--what I'm hoping is that in some of the student housing apartments a room will open up. People do drop their rooms, maybe I'll get lucky. *crosses fingers*
