Apr. 8th, 2003 10:58 amSo I'm staring blankly at my computer yesterday, renaming files from a manga I just edited, waiting for dinner to be ready and various people to come online, when all of a sudden, my mother's voice sounds from the livingroom.
"One of your friends are here." *blinks* My friends? Who would be... *peers out the window and sees a dark blue truck*
It was a very old friend of mine--probably dating back to the middle school days, when I first moved down here. Yes, we're still friends. This amazes me because I'm a military brat and such things are not commom occurences.
Well, we invite her in, she looks at me and goes "Get dressed, we're leaving."*blinks* So I ended up being kidnapped. *grins* She really needed help watching her baby while she picked up stuff--and it was fun. ^_^ Her baby is amusing--she waves one moment, growls like a demon the next.
We went to two places, took like three hours to do so.. *a new experience for me* and then she bought me cadburry mini eggs! The small chocolate ones? ^^;; They're kind of obscure--she didn't even know what they were until I pointed them out to her. *yummy*
She made dinner at her place and I told her to kidnap me again. I rather like getting out of my house....
That did ruin my plan to sleep for a few hours and then wake up around 2am, but it seems to be my sleeping schedule has shifted to staying up all night, going to bed around 5am, and waking up anywhere from 4-6 hours later.

It was nice being with her again--she is on of my oldest friends... someone my age! Wai! And I really have been too much of a hermit....
