(no subject)

Well, its still snowing outside. I've never seen it snow so much since I was in the 6th grade. It doesn't really qualify, because that was a blizzard, and this is 'normal weather.' Why can't work be cancelled for things like this? I'm currently writing with a friend, when I should be in bed. I thought I was going to bed early tonight. Well, in about...19 more minutes I'll be wishing her a happy birthday. I wish I had a way of checking about my work at this time, but it doesn't seem likely that we'll get the message. I feel like a kid again, wishing for school to be cancelled.

A Miracle....

Well, I wake up to pounding at my door at 7am this morning. When you fall asleep around 3am, its not so pleasant. Although I find out that my school has been cancelled. A University in a town thats surrounded by mountains. Normal weather? Considering it hasn't stopped snowing since about 10:30 am yesterday morning--I'm glad its cancelled. Now if only I could reach my work and find out the same information.

Snow....

I seem to be writing on this alot. How many people are reading? It's been snowing all day, and they say its going to snow for the next two days. It boggles my mind. I come from a coastal community, where snow is a rare and wonderous event. If it snowed this much there, the town would be shut down. They seem to be doing semi-okay here, except for some closing here and there.
