My roommate pointed out that the statement was meant for a general audience and would work better, but that general audience was comprised of people that lost people in this war.
I didn't even watch that on tv, I just got a nasty shock when I came across the text of the speech on the net. I called my friend and cried about it. It's so stupid and pointlesa at this point....
